Fermenting Sodas at Home - $30
Learn to make your own fermented sodas in this hands-on workshop with PRESERVED owner Elizabeth Vecchiarelli. We will learn about the history, nutritive value, and simple technique of fermenting beverages three ways: with a ginger-bug, whey (a by-product from cheese-making), and water-kefir culture! Carbonate your beverages naturally and enjoy probiotic benefits! Each student will get recipe guides and a personal bottle of our in-class brew of root beer to ferment at home!
Saturday workshops are outdoors so please dress appropriately for our Bay Area weather. Classes are subject to cancellation in the event of rain and credit will be honored for a future class.
